Presumption of innocence is a legal right that the accused in criminal trials has in many modern nations, including and especially America. It states that no person shall be considered guilty until finally convicted by a court. What then shall we say today of the public's openly miscarriage of justice with O.J. Simpson? Is not this man Presumed Guilty even after the courts have failed to establish a conviction? Who in America can honestly say that this man is not watched, hounded, and even pursued because a majority of public opinion presumes him guilty of the crime in which the court of law has disagreed.
