The Day Time Was Hacked

As curator of the world's finest collection of meteorites, held within the Vatican Observatory, Brother Frank Bootsma spends his days living in the past. But when he unearths an important secret relating to the trial of Galileo in 1633, he inadvertently launches himself onto the world stage - three hundred years into the future. It seems that Bootsma's discovery, recorded in the Vatican's carefully maintained archives, raises a red flag in the year 2315. Consequently, he is abducted by time-travelers from that future, along with fourteen-year-old Max Burkowski, whose scientist-father Jacob has made an important discovery of his own. Trapped in the future, Bootsma and Max must devise a way to get back home, even as Dr. Burkowski races to save them from his own time. Their efforts pit them against their abductor, enigmatic Roto Ashlev, a double agent for the underground Brahmin network in future China, who pursues his hidden agenda, in a mind-boggling assortment of time-travel paradoxes.
