by Ruth Pallock
A beautiful colt, born on the farm owned by Horatio Brown, loved to chase butterflies with the children. Because of this, he was named Chase.
Chase grew into a fine, gentle horse everyone loved. During his life, Chase was given the responsibilities that would take him to distant lands to help people in difficult situations. He fulfilled all of the responsibilities with a courageous heart while dreaming of the day he could go home again.
Many times, Chase was hungry and tired but the time came when he found his way home to the people who loved him the most.
