Christine W. Murphy - Information About Author
I was born and raised in small town in Minnesota and graduated from a Lutheran college 20 miles away, before I ran away and joined the U.S. Navy. I served in Newport, RI; Key West, FL; Keflavic, Iceland; and Norfolk, Virginia.
After leaving the service, I married a fellow officer and, after a brief stay in Sicily and Florida, moved to Connecticut, where we’ve lived since 1979. As a writer I was influenced by what I read as a child. My family had a copy of the Great Books of the Western World, which made me feel like I had the world at my finger tips. But I must confess, my favorite authors were Azimov and Ian Flemming.
My love for science fiction and spy novels are evident in my published books. I add romance to fix what was missing in those books I read so long ago.
